Almost all of the viewers are going "huh?", and a very little bunch is going "it's funny, because it says 'banoffee'"[1].

 

[1] Monte (sitting with Boudicca the cat in this picture), a masterful chef and veteran of the Bungay juggling festival makes a horribly good banoffee pie. It's so loved by bungayers that it's almost like a sacred food there.

 

And no, the drink is not even nearly comparable to its namesake.

  • I have it 'from the horses mouth' (does that expression have a finnish equivalent?) that Monte doesn't actually like eating the stuff. Me either but they are still spectacular.

  • I like a mouthfull of banoffee but too sweet for me. I don't like the word veteran though I prefer founder. Happy with masterful chef. cheers Jani hope to see you this year
